DJ Rob Rocks The House

Last Sunday I djed at the 22nd Anniversary Summer Party for Children with Leukaemia at the magnificent Villa Tiberio in Marbella.

It was an incredible evening, from the stunning gardens where Sandra sang so beautifully to kick off the evening to the host of stars from London who’d come over to sing.

It was wonderful to hear Lauren sing. She finished third in Somewhere over the rainbow, and was making a return visit after singing at last year’s party, before she was so famous.
About 300 guests were treated to Jodie Jacobs singing too. She has a stunning voice.
Alfie turned in another vintage performance as Michael Buble and had the crowd begging for more.
From nearer to home Stephen Lloyd Morgan turned in a barnstorming performance and Nick Pound and Jenny Gucci sang brilliantly.
My job as the last act was to keep people dancing into the wee small hours. It was a fun gig to play. About €25, 000 was raised which is an amazing achievement bearing in mind how things are at the moment.

Congratulations to Caroline Randerson and her team for all their hard work. Children with Leukaemia is dedicated to fighting Britain’s biggest childhood cancer and has been instrumental in reducing the levels of child deaths from this disease.

Here’s to the 23rd party next year…
