Music was my first love
and it will be my last.
Music of the future
and music of the past.
To live without my music
would be impossible to do.
In this world of troubles,
my music pulls me through.

Music wasn’t my first love, that was football. But music’s in my genes, my great grandfather was the drummer in a professional big band in the 1920s, and he played football for my hometown team and my mum and dad both love music.
Music’s always been a big part of my life. There’s nothing better than sharing great music with other people. I first djed at a disco at my old primary school when I was 14. And now I spend my weekdays producing radio shows for Talk Radio Europe.
For me a great night starts with good preparation, then it’s all about finding ways to encourage people to get on the dance floor by creating ripples of energy. Then you ride the wave as it builds, guiding it in the directions you want to go by not just playing superb music that people love, but playing the right song at the right time.
That’s what a DJ can do, create a truly memorable night.
Music was not my first love, but I’ll be surprised if it’s not my last.
