Music was not my first love, that was football. But music is in my genes, my great grandfather was the drummer in a professional big band in the 1920s, (and he played football for my hometown team) and my mum and dad both love music.
Music has always been a huge part of my life. I love hearing new music. There is nothing better than sharing great music with other people. I first DJ-ed at a disco at my old primary school when I was 14. I went back and did the school leavers’ disco. The rest is history.
Music was not my first love, but I’ll be surprised if it’s not my last.
I think a great night is working the crowd by creating ripples of energy, playing superb music that gets people up and dancing. That’s what creates a truly memorable night.
