Shaping your evening
Disco mirror ball Whatever your event is, it will have several parts. Well chosen music, played at the right volume, and appropriate levels of lighting will help to enhance the atmosphere of each section of the evening. So the whole experience will be as enjoyable as possible for you and your guests.

We can work closely together to ensure that each part of the evening unfolds as you want it to.

The welcome
When people are arriving you might want relaxing music to help chill everyone out. Some cocktail bar music, old favourites from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s or a mix of styles might be more what you want.

Dancing and having fun

Disco Costa del SolThe early stages
The music can bubble away in the background. Maybe some jazz would be great. Maybe some chilled beats.

The build up
Starting to build an atmosphere, with some slightly faster music for a few brave souls to cut a rug on the dance floor. Here you might want some 70s or 80s classics

Music to suit you

All of this needs your guests to feel comfortable so they can relax and enjoy themselves. That is what I work hard to achieve, on your behalf.

We will work closely together before the event and during it to make sure you get the unique experience that you want. I have a deep love of music and a wide collection from the 1950s to the latest dance music and I can accommodate your requirements.

I DJ-ed at Restaurant Babu back in the summer for a 40th birthday party and the client’s only specific request was to “play some ska classics at a good moment”. I played some Beat, Bad Manners, Madness and others and that was the highlight of the night. People of a certain age were saying they hadn’t heard this song for ages and dancing like the last 25 years hadn’t happened. It was a special, memorable moment.
